Maddie has worked for over 6 years creating projects with communities in London, Greater Manchester, Bristol and the rural South-West.

She delivers sustained projects working with communities over a number of years and also works on short-term projects and productions.

Her work with communities has been staged at HOME, The Met, Niamos and The Kiln.

Currently Maddie is Creative Director of Futures at Pan Arts - a programme offering drama workshops for migrant and refugee young people in East Croydon. She is session lead for Club Class a space for unaccompanied asylum seeking young people to play, share and learn together. Since 2018 she is a Lead Facilitator on The Kilns Minding the Gap Programme and she sits on the board of Sheba Arts CIC.

Currently working on Traveling Tales - a visual, community storytelling project which accompanies Maddie’s latest solo-show ‘Roadside’.

Work from the first instalment of Traveling Tales has been archived by the South West Rural Heritage Trust as part of a resource on GRT history.
